"The 1842 Inn is the epitome of Southern Hospitality! We felt like we were visiting family! The breakfasts were wonderful in a charming atmosphere. Every staff member was engaging, helpful, and friendly. The manager, Mike, went above and beyond during our stay! The inn is perfectly located downtown with easy access to sites, restaurants, music venues, and the Ocmulgee Mounds. Thanks for a great experience!!! We will be back!"

"Nice hotel"

"Beautiful rooms right in the middle of downtown Macon. There is NO lobby to check in - you are emailed a code to get to your room. Sooo, remember the room number you book!! Half of the rooms enter from an alleyway and are street level and the other half off of a main street on the second floor with a dedicated key pad. Beautifully decorated."

"Such a beautiful hotel! Convenient location. I wish the air didn’t turn off for 15 minutes at a time. There was also a very bright light shining up into our room window and made it seem like it was daylight peaking through the cracks but everything was great overall."

"Bueno buenos"

"Good room for one night stay for traveling couple"

"Clean room, friendly staff, excellent place to stay near the interstate."

"Helpful employees"

"Clean rooms and hotel , good breakfast , we would stay there again"

"Room was clean and quiet at night. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and quick if you need to get your day started early."

"Our room had a smell to it and the carpet was sticky. Alot of the fixtures were outdated and rusty. The room itself, if it was renovated would have been AWESOME!! The breakfast was Great!"

"Would stay here again. Pet fee a little high."

"Not bad for just 1 night, traveling with my son from FL to KY., small rooms, decent clean, not noise proof, next door guest woke us up at 3am with her conversation on the phone and heating up something on microwave every 10 minutes. Staff was good."

"Rooms need to be cleaned better. Whoever did the painting in rooms had no idea how to paint. Breakfast needs more fruit other than apples.was an ok breakfast nothing special."
