"The self check in was great. That was about all that was. I do realize it is a hostel but I have stayed in plenty and this by far has been the worst. So our front door was just an all glass storm door with a couple curtains just on the inside. We had a room on the back side that would have had a nice area to sit and relax but there were only two tables with about 6 chairs that had to be shared with 4 rooms. The bed felt like I was laying on straw bales and the paperwork I printed that had my...
"Alles war perfekt! Das Zimmer war groß und gemütlich eingerichtet. Auch das Restaurant und die Lounge sind mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet worden. Wir haben dort zu Abend gegessen hen gefrühstückt und können das nur jedem empfehlen! Das Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden definitiv wieder kommen."
"We were there last week and had one of the small cabins out back. It was all we needed. Nothing fancy but it has a heater, twin beds and a private bathroom. There is a lounge room and kitchen to share. We couldn't get our heater to work, because the heaters they have a a little finicky, but the manager came out immediately and sorted it. Very well located! Buses are metres from the door. The community info hub is right next door."
"Overall, the property itself is lovely and offers good amenities, but several aspects of our stay fell short, especially considering the price point.
Cleanliness was a noticeable issue upon arrival: the floors had clearly not been properly hoovered or mopped and were quite dusty, and we found dirty dishes put away in the cupboards.
The sleeping arrangements were also disappointing. The sofa bed in our flat was broken and unusable. Furthermore, it wasn't made clear beforehand that guests must...
"I had rented this cottage for 5 days 4 nights. I had a few issues. I brought my 82 year old mother for here dream vacation. We entered the cottage and It was clean and very large. The 1st issue was there was no heat! My mother had to keep her coat on the whole time. 2. No internet 3. Not able to watch tv do not having internet. 4. No washing machine. 5. No one way to get a hold of anyone at the property. I sent an email to the property and no response as of 9-22-26. I sent an email to Expedia...
"This cottage presented exactly as described. Very comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen is well stocked with all essentials needed to create meals. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom heated floors a nice touch. The information provided by the host is spot on. It is quite rural and the purchase of groceries requires some forethought. We did as suggested and upon landing stocked up in Inverness.
Would highly recommend these cottages. We stayed in the Moriston cottage.
