"I had a wonderful stay recently at MacDougall Clansman Hotel. Iain and staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The hotel and rooms were immaculate and had all the necessary amenities. There was a heatwave happening and they were able to provide a room fan to help keep me comfortable. The location was central to all the main sights and was extremely walkable which was super convenient. "Great central location just a view minutes (via the Market Brae steps) to the High Street and railway station. I had no direct interaction with the proprietor or staff. Nevertheless the guest house was reasonably homely, clean and well maintained. A good budget choice."
