"King bed with lagoon view. Clean. Spacious. WiFi perfect. Air conditioning cold. Shower hot. Big balcony. Many drink options. Nice bedding. Snacks. Multiple Mini toiletries. Staff is beyond amazing. "

2/10 Terrible

"BEWARE! This was our 3rd trip to The Grand MP in the last 12 months. This will be our last. Each time we have been, more & more restrictions, less inclusions. They admitted to having higher room categories available yet refused to honour my upgrade. The manager at the front desk, Jesus, was very rude to me. Book something else. This is not the place. No updating has happened to the older buildings. They just completed construction on some of the newer buildings. They look incredible. But the rest of the resort has not been up-kept. The elevator in our building was down the entire stay. There was hair in my son’s food one night at dinner. The mixed drinks have a terrible chemical flavour. Towels weren’t always replaced and we had to call a few times to get some for our showers. If zero was a rating, I’d give it that. I didn’t even use a single dollar of the credits I received - they’re not getting a single cent from me again. "

"If you value your sanity and the value of your hard earned money, avoid this place at all costs. They will cheat you at every turn possible. They charged extra for my husband, even though I had booked a 2 person room with a king bed. I had selected the 1 adult option while booking, bcoz my husbands plans were uncertain. The guy kept pointing to their additional guest policy and I tried really hard to explain that it was meant for in addition to standard occupancy which is 2 people. They tried to charge an outrageous price for airport transfer. I found one for less than half the price they quoted. The room floor was also very wet and almost greasy and slimy - perfect metaphor for the hotel and staff. Was afraid of slipping and falling. The one saving grace was the restaurant. Food was good. They also seem to have a decent pool and beach - neither of which we used since we were only there for one night. Worst hotel experience ever! Spend the extra and pick a nice one in the hotel zone. Plenty of choice there"

"Good pool options, good food options (a little bland but still good) service from staff was good. Hotel itself was clean and easy to access. Loved that It was on the beach and you can swim in the ocean. Wish they had a little more at the snack bar. And maybe add shuttle service to local areas for tourist to visit easier. "
