Changes are not always for the better!
"We’ve been staying at this hotel for many years … so much has changed and some of it not for the better:
Guests now have to pay for parking.
There’s not a bar of soap in the bathroom although we asked for one a few times & finally bought our own. Not about price but concept .
Shower only had shampoo & conditioner in large containers … there was no liquid soap. When we complained they replaced conditioner with liquid soap! No Wash rags available . So a simple basic need available in any inferior hotels became frustrating.
Staff has changed and although we had two nice reception attendants most of them didn’t seem to care …
Reason we always stay here is because it’s convenient, accommodating and previous staff went beyond the usual to make sure guests were comfortable."
