Payne Lake Wilderness Huts - Hotel Unit

10/10 Excellent
"Soonhui was very quick with answering questions about my stay. The instructions for the no-contact entry were perfect. The room is small, but very comfortable, the bed and pillows are great. Also loved the shower, great water pressure. The room has a standard hotelroom fridge, perfect for snacks, drinks and breakfast items. There Keurig coffeemaker and electric kettle was much appreciated. I was there hiking in Waterton for 5 days, and it was well worth the 25 minute drive, to come back to quiet and calm. For a solo person travelling light it was perfect!"

Crandell Mountain Lodge

"The room was nicer than expected, updated and decorated nicely. It was great to have a full kitchenette and a deck out front to lounge on. The bad - no sound proofing and we were on the lower level. We were on the lower level and the people upstairs were walking around (in a small hotel room?) until 1230am - I actually had to bang on the wall a couple times. And the 90's called and wants their hard-as-a-rock mattress back."

Prince of Wales Hotel

Prince of Wales Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Stepping into the Prince of Wales Hotel felt like stepping into a time machine, such a beautiful old building, full of character. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, each one going out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The elevator was quite the ride (in a fun, old-hotel kind of way), and our room was cozy and warm. One tip: since it's an older hotel, if you're feeling a bit cold, crank up the heater and head out for a walk, it'll be nice and warm by the time you get back. You can also ask for an extra heater or blanket. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and both were delicious. Add in the lake view, and every meal felt worth savoring. They also host a history talk every evening at 7 PM about Waterton Park and the hotel itself, which was a lovely touch, and there are beautiful walking paths right around the property. It os very close to the falls, hiking paths and the town centre itself and you can see the hotel as you are driving into the town. It also has .ery Instagram worthy places."

Northland Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"I loved the place, so unique, our room had 2 beds, and a private bath. There was a common area where people could mingle, Stacie had muffins, coffee and juice to start the morning whole people chitchated about what they did the day before and what they are doing that day. So fun!!"

Kilmorey Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"Overall, we were very happy with the stay. Beautiful views from the lakeview unit and the staff were very friendly. The property is for the most part clean and well maintained, however it was obvious no staff had checked out the balcony in a while. One of the balcony chairs was nearly falling apart and the balcony hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. Otherwise, great stay."
