"We chose the Villa Romeo due to its location to the main train station, it's just across the street. We were only staying one night before flying from Catania to Rome. The hotel is old but well maintained. We enjoyed our brief stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was typical but could be eaten in the beautiful courtyard which is filled with plants, very pretty. Overall a fine visit. "

No Ironing facilities - at all? Zero, not even an ironing room? - very strange for a hotel hosting conventions . Pool opening hours could be expanded (even just for adults) 10-6pm is a little short. "The hotel property was great for families and group of friends. It is an all inclusive resort and you don’t have to worry about paying for drinks, snacks or where to eat. All you have to do is reserve your restaurant of choice. There’s a sports bar open until 2am for late drinks and bar food. Multiple adult pools and a Kids Club for them to play and enjoy their own area. The rooms were cleaned everyday and everyone was pleasant and very helpful. Only about 12-15min from Cefalú! A beautiful coastal little city in Sicily but a bit busy for us and it was fun to go back to our resort and enjoy the amenities and beautiful views. "

"We loved everything about this property, especially the staff who on more than one occasion went out of their way for us. The property is beautiful as there is a large courtyard with a pool. Our room was very very nice and faced the pool. Free breakfast is outstanding! Book it, you won't regret. Need a driver? The hotel will call a wonderful driver who can take you anywhere you need to go in Catania for very affordable prices. "
