This area is unfortunately suffering from the stench of the nearby Salton Sea which is an ecological disaster of monumental proportions. If the wind is blowing in the wrong direction the smell is terrible. California should be ashamed.For a state that claims to be so concerned about the environment, this area is a toxic wasteland."
