Pool was great for the kids. Room was needing some repair to the light fixtures but was overall clean and decent shape. Restaurant serves a great breakfast.

Checked in- went to the room and the tv was broken. Asked for a replacement but they didnt have another tv. Went to have a shower and no soap and shampoo. The front desk had to go get some from a nearby store..

While it was great to have a roof over our heads, there were a couple of things that were disappointing. 1) Not a major thing as we were only there for one night, but there was no shampoo or conditioner for a shower. They did eventually provider a bar of soap. 2) The staff at the front counter were not very customer service oriented. When I went down to get the bar of soap, the individual behind the counter felt obligated to tell me that people were telling her it was her fault for not having soap and seemed more interested in staring at her phone that helping people (she called someone over from the couch that was also on their device). I get it... it was later in the evening, but it reflects poorly. Lastly, we had one towel in a room with two queen beds. Overall, it was a disappointment and we will look for alternative places the next time we visit Strathmore.

After driving for 9 hours we were excited to have a shower. When we got to our room we noted no shampoo. I went to the desk and was informed they had no soap this week. No shampoo, no body wash not even a bar of soap. After searching our car we fortunatley discovered a small bottle of body wash. With renewed excitment we returned to the room. It was then discovered we had only one towel..for a room that sleeps 4. The morning comes and we had the delight of sharing the single serving of coffee that was provided...

Charging full price but having absolutely no room cleaning whatsoever is rediculous. Was there for 2 weeks and had to take an entire day multiple times out of my vacation just to clean.

there was no shampoo in the rooms..luckily we brought our own. As soon as we entered we saw that one of the garbage cans was full of someone else's empty beer & pop cans so had not been dumped. Called for a wake up call Sunday morning.. no one called.. had to rush to make it to the event we were staying there to attend.

I showed up for my reservation, they had my name, but no room had been booked. The girl at the front told me the room I had reserved on Expedia had not been clean and the cleaning person had called in sick. There were no other rooms available. NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY. Where do I sleep tonight. They don't care.

Booked a family suite as we are a family of 6. Arrived to a room with 2 queen beds, no seperate room as we booked. Paid upon arrival for the suite, and when I asked where our suite was, the lady informed us that someone else was in it. So I asked why they charged me for a suite, she said she didn’t. I opened Expedia and informed her the room she put us in was $50 cheaper. The room smelled like sweaty hockey equipment crossed with peppermint, quite sickly.. Will not recommend nor stay here again

Friendly front desk staff, quick check in. Older hotel but room had comfy bed, fluffy pillows and new furniture in it. Missing remote but for the economical price no complaints.would stay again. Sister in law had to catch early flight and front desk lady offered to make her coffee and wake up call.
