The unit shown is NOT the unit you will stay in. Hardly and silverware/cookware to use and the heat was crazy. Emailed the owner because we could not get the heat below 25 Celsius. I was told the building must have the AC shut off. Tried to use the bbq - very dirty and smoked terribly. Not even salt and pepper in the unit so come prepared. This so-called new apartment has two huge cracks running from floors to ceiling in the living room, and the cable is a joke. Basic channels only. To top it all off, we were told after we left that we were being charged an extra $165 for extra cleaning of bed sheets. Said sheets were abnormally worn, had stains. We are a couple in our 50s who stayed for 6 days. The top bed sheet was put in the closet the day we arrived! Prior Tom leaving we emptied the garbages and did the dishes. What extra cleaning?? Ludicrous. Beware. Save your money and go somewhere else.

My partner and I travelled to Calgary for multiple medical appointments. The reason I chose this condo was from the owner’s description of the property and the pictures shown that lead us to believe it would be comfortable. Comfort was the top priority this trip because of the medical procedures. This condo was not comfortable or relaxing at all. The reclining couch as depicted was not there. In its replacement was a very uncomfortable non-reclining couch. I had to use a chair from the kitchen table and a pillow to prop my legs up on. The owner did not inform us of this change and when he was asked about he said previous tenants had broke the reclining couch. I said to myself I would rest in the bedroom, and could watch tv in there, as that was another pic on the listing showing a tv in the bedroom. There was no tv in the bedroom. We had to wash our clothes the first day we arrived because the airline lost our luggage. The owner failed to mention the washer was not working properly. When asked about it, The owner stated he was waiting for a part. The instructions given by the owner on how the clothes could still be washed was not accurate. At this point we wanted out of the condo and explained to the owner that he could obviously have the amount owed for the time we have been there…but we wanted a refund for the remainder of our trip and that we wanted to leave. The owner replied saying the only difference in the condo was the couch not being the same. He left it at that. I couldn’t continue to argue because I was trying to recover from medical procedures and didn’t need the stress. And yes, the owner did know we were travelling to Calgary for medical procedures. Other issues with the condo: - In the bathroom there was hair all over from the previous tenant - while getting a shower the tub would fill up to your ankles by the time you were done - The carpet was gross and was not cut to the right length. The owner had a plastic mat over the area of where the carpet would meet the tile of the kitchen because the nail-tacky board that holds down carpet was exposed. I didn’t realize that’s what the plastic mat was there for until I stepped on the mail-tacky board. - cookingware had to be washed prior to use because it was all dirty - the scrub brush for washing dishes had hair stuck in the bristles - the heat was on bust but could not be changed - the list goes on but there is not enough room to write it all here

I really enjoyed being met by one of the property owners, and he made the whole check in process very easy and quick. Communication with the property owner was also very good. The unit itself was modern, clean and nicely laid out with a large kitchen and I especially appreciated the option of using the black out curtains in the bedroom. Definitely recommend!

Honestly the communication between me and the host from when I made the reservation till the check in day was very helpful, he was very accommodating and very polite and professional. Excellent host by far. Even though I’m from Calgary just recently move he still provided his best recommendations on where I could go as well as where to go eat. The place is amazing, very modern with a really great view overlooking downtown and the saddle dome specifically. I would definitely recommend the place
