"Wonderful location for the first of hopefully many trips as a large group of friends (inspired by my dad’s trips with Terence’s friends below!). Dinner on the promontory terrace overlooking the river was truly spectacular. The pool was refreshing for our week of unexpectedly hot September weather and the hot water for showering was truly impressive. The chateau is an unforgettable vacation spot!"

"We are two families 4 adults and 4 children (age 6-10) and have recently stayed for 1 week at Chateau Madame. Our first view of the chateau was from its imposing position on the hillside which could be seen from several kilometres away basking in the evening sun as we approached. There is a 400m meandering drive up the hillside toward Chateau Madame that provides a secluded and safe setting. "We stayed at the property for our wedding recently and had 40 people in total attending the wedding, with 30 staying on site at both the chateau and gites. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the wedding was wonderful. The area is very pretty but pretty isolated. The chateau and gites are beautifully decorated and fully furnished.
