"Began witting this while in this locale... Another restless night. This rental is located 20 meters from Hwy 307, a main route north and south on the Mexican Carribean. The road noise is/was awful. We also listened to a water pump loudly whine all night the first night. I sent the host a notice that the pumps bearing was likely going out. They responded they knew and stated the pump had been disconnected. For one night we didn't hear the pump. Then the next two nights, our last two. I read...

"The listing describes the place extremely well. Very clean and tidy. I had a car so it was easy to get around the town. Not my first time on bacalar but I enjoyed the rooftop pool as well. Check in was a piece of cake, would definitely stay here again! "
