"We stayed as part of a visit to Reading Festival. Receptionist was super friendly and helpful. I spoke to her before our stay and she was helpful on the phone answering questions I had. She also recognised my booking when we arrived! All the facilities were good and we enjoyed breakfast. Good location. Starbucks attached to hotel, Sainsbury's over the road. Also recommend nearby South Hill Park Arts Centre to watch a film and we used nearby shopping centre TheLexicon."

"The hotel was great for the price. Clean rooms and comfy beds. Staff were lovely and the breakfast looked good too (although we went swimming and missed it!) The bathrooms are a bit tired but everything worked fine. The swimming pool was a great added bonus too! Again the leisure facilities are a bit tired but perfectly clean and all working! Would definitely stay again and recommend."

"Excellent stay. Very helpful staff on check in and at the bar. The food in the restaurant was very nice (but a bit expensive for what you get). Lovely pool, sauna and steam room. The gym is a great amenity."
