"I did not like the area. I did not like that the doors were always closed, that there was a slight gap in the blinds so people could look into my room. It took the lady an hour to find my reservation. There was always loud music playing late at night and sometimes the owner’s kid would cry a lot."

"This hotel is close to the airport and has beautiful and relaxing grounds. The staff are amazing and take pride in their service. A great homemade dinner is available for a nominal additional cost. Breakfast was delicious as well. If I ever come back to Quito, I will definitely stay here again. Only small negative is that it is further from Quito."

"We spent 6 nights at Hotel Casa Gardenia. The staff made our stay so easy and convenient. Rooms were very nice, view from the lounge on the top floor was amazing and the location in Old Town made it very easy to get to sites."

"Our family of five stayed in two rooms. Marco and Andres made us feel comfortable and at home. They were extremely accommodating and helped us with all our needs! Breakfast is included as well which included fresh bread, eggs made to order and fruit. The property was beautiful and there were some alpacas on site. This stay was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. 10/10 would recommend and if I come back we would definitely stay here!!"

"Alicia, as the name suggests, maintains a wonderful orchid garen with hundreds growing in pots nice arranged on shelves beneath a large canopy of jungle trees and wild plant growth. Birdsong all day long with good bird watching from your chair on the deck of your cabaña. Nice breakfast. Alicia is very helpful and ever smiling."
