"What a fantastic, beautiful, calming villa, with lovely views!
The location is soothingly quiet and has an almost hypnotic feel; yet it is close to restaurants and amenities.
The typically Menorcan beach of Na Macaret, is within walking distance, with a couple of restaurants.
The pool is wonderfully clean, naturally warm and a very generous size. There is a pool alarm if needed, for families with young children.
It takes around 25 minutes to get from the airport. Although a car really is essential, Menorca is such a beautiful island; who wouldn’t want to explore it?!!
Port d’Addaia is right next door, where you can hire boats and cayaks. There are also plenty of eating opportunities in the neighbouring Arenal d’en Castell, along with the water park, literally 5 minutes down the road.
I can wax lyrical about this villa and how friendly and communicative Isabelle, the owner is! She was so helpful and responsive and I would like to say thank you for letting me and my family stay in such a lovely place.
The WiFi is also great (if you have teenagers!! 😄)

"Our second stay at this beautiful villa. We visited 5yrs prior and it was exactly how we remembered it! Beautiful big villa with a stunning pool and picturesque outside views. Perfect location for our young families. Beach close by and restaurants on the doorstep. We enjoyed the local Italian for take aways to enjoy at the villa and also enjoyed the local restaurants for lunches and dinners. The owner Lawrence is very accommodating and allowed us to check in early due to an early flight. We had a water issue during our stay and the pool level reduced but the manager got straight on it and sent over someone to fix it within a couple of hours. We enjoyed talking to him as he actually built the villa. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. We plan to come back again with friends. Thank you again! "
"We stayed here for a week at the end of July.
The villa is in an excellent location on a quiet residential street about 10 minutes walk from the beautiful bay in Arenal de Castell.
Only 5 minutes walk to the really well equipped shop and pizzeria.
The pool is great and was kept really clean for us during our stay. It’s very deep so inflatables/ floaties are a good investment (local shop sells them).
The villa is a great size with 2 bedrooms on the ground floor (1 double, 1 twin) and another en-suite double upstairs on its own.
Other good things are the beds are comfy and the air con is very effective in the rooms. It got up to 42 degrees one day so very effective!
The villa though does require some maintenance- grout is missing from tiles around the pool, we had a toilet that kept dripping upstairs and the worst but was power that kept going off. I must have had to turn the power back on at the fuse box over 30 times.
It seems that the villa electrics are overloaded by the air con so every time you switch on anything over and above the air con, the whole lot goes off.
The TV is also not connected to WIFI so no good for watching anything like Netflix . Whilst not mentioned on the listing, I feel a villa of this price should have this facility, we did however make use of a laptop and an hdmi cable in the villa so the kids could chill a bit with a film. The villa was also under equipped - only 1 toilet roll, no washing up liquid, cloths (tea towels only), scant handwash"
