Grupotel Port d'Alcudia

"We had a very enjoyable stay at Grupotel Port D’Alcudia and I would recommend this to families with young children looking for a good value stay. The accommodation was ideal, super clean and the beds very comfy. Whilst there was evening entertainment, the hotel is quiet, not rowdy and we were able to sleep well every night. Location is good, about a 5 min stroll to the beach, a convenience supermarket directly opposite the hotel (but there is a bigger Lidl about 5-10 mins walk away too). To walk to the Port took us around 20 mins with children, and there is a bit more going on there, plenty of restaurant choices, shops and the marina to enjoy."

"Beds were slightly uncomfortable memory foam type. Room was very basic but I guess that is all you need. It was just a place to crash at night for us as we were out early every morning and not back until late. We needed somewhere that didn't include breakfast so it was perfect in that respect. The pool was nice. The parking was a little crowded and cars got so jammed in sometimes that I feared we would be able to leave early but we got away with it by claiming the positions that couldn't get blocked. However, just shy of £400 for a three night stay, even in August, I feel was a bit steep for such basic a room. Otherwise it was great."

"Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeberin, Maria, war äußerst freundlich und stand jederzeit bei Fragen zur Seite. Die Kommunikation über Whats App klappte gut. Wir waren aufgrund der Sonnenfinsternis nach Mallorca gekommen und Maria empfahl uns auf Nachfrage einen Strand, von dem aus wir diese sehr gut beobachten konnten. Das Haus war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Es liegt nahe einem kleinen Sparmarkt. Auch eine Bushaltestelle und das Meer sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Garage war groß genug, um beide Mietautos darin zu parken. Zudem befanden dort sich viele Utensilien für einen Strandbesuch.Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden und würden auf jeden Fall nochmal wiederkommen. Lieben Dank an Maria!"

"The hotel is fairly modern, spacious and clean. There are plenty of sun loungers around the pool area and it's situated away from noisy bars etc. Breakfast has a wide selection. However the pillows are hard as concrete (noted in many reviews) and the hotel need to change these. The requirement to pay extra for the safe is also poor for a hotel of this standard."

"Louise was an amazing host and the villa is lovely. Our kids loved the pool, the kitchen is very well equipped and we’d much welcome air con throughout the villa. Very close to some good restaurants and bars. Beautiful views. Our stay was unfortunately cut short due to emergency hospitalization of one of our party and Louise was the most generous and gracious host we could have asked for. Thanks to Lisa too for getting a shop in for us before arriving, really appreciated Thanks very much Louise for a lovely stay xxx"

"Location was terrific. Bed was super comfortable and no noise at night so perfect for lite sleepers like me. The staff super friendly and very helpful especially the lovely lady working reception. Perfect for a quick get away. It was very hot during my trip and the air conditioning was struggling to keep the room cool but in the end it was ok."

"My friend and I had a five-night stay here and were absolutely blown away. We originally booked a standard room but were later upgraded to a suite, which was absolutely perfect. That being said, I’m sure we would have had an equally fantastic stay in our originally booked room. We spent most of our days by the pool, and every day was so pleasant. The staff were absolutely fantastic, particularly Carmen, who we became very friendly with during our stay. She was so lovely and helpful, and gave us some great recommendations for local food spots. Our room was beautiful and cleaned immaculately every day. We also had lunch by the pool on two occasions and were really impressed with the food. We are genuinely so sad to be home and would absolutely love to return in the future. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!"
