This cost me thousands of unexpected dollars. The host reach out the next day to try to explain. At that point, the confidence and comfort was not there being a solo senior traveler. "Good apartment in a good location. However, very bad on the cleanliness. Stain (appeared to be urin) over the toilet. Someone’s clothes were left in the washer and closet, the only towel provided was the one meant for the floor (it was a white towel that looked brown). I asked the owner about clothes in laundry and he only wanted to know if I needed to use the washer. I asked if there were towels and he said he would provide for 30€.
