It's a bit away from noisy port and marina (about 20 min walk, or 5 min drive), and it's a huge advantage. Very easily accessible by car, near major highways, so no need to drive through narrow medieval streets of port area. And FREE PARKING!! with unlimited 24h access and exit. "This is a classic Italian hotel. 24-hour front desk (that holds your room key), nice lobby, large well-appointed room with a really nice bathroom, great breakfast buffet on the top floor (with a rooftop terrace). Short walk to the central train station (and then a short train ride to the airport). Dozens of excellent Sardinian restaurants within a few blocks. A similar hotel would cost five times as much in NYC!"
