"The 2010 golf course is a great design, a real challenge and was in amazing condition following the long hot summer. The room was well appointed with a comfy bed. The staff were all fantastic and oh so friendly and helpful starting with the doorman on arrival. Dinner in The Grill was good although it was disappointing how many restaurants were closed in September. Overall a great experience."

"Beautiful hotel with lovely big rooms, ate in the main restaurant the food was delicious with lots of variety, on the downside our room overlooked the main road opposite the pubs and the noise was deafening, stopped around 3am.final verdict is lovely rooms and hotel but overpriced drinks and too noisy if staying in a road facing room."

"Nice hotel, very central, and great to have onsite parking which even though cost £18 was still cheaper than any other carpark around. It does need updating and some TLC but our room was clean and everything we needed for a good night's sleep, after all we were out all day and just needed a base. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was also good value for money"
