"We felt very welcome from arrival till departure. Good location, cheap parking nearby, decent breakfast to start your day. Keep in mind that the rooms are not air contained and not all windows can be opened. Ask for a fan of necessary."

"I booked a last minute one night stay. A very convenient location for staying just off the M5. The room was very nicely furnished. The bed was very comfortable. The shower powerful and warm. Dinner in the pub was delicious and a good range of drinks offerings. Definitely recommend. Staff were also friendly and helpful."

"I had a lovely stay and nothing was too much bother for Sue. Lots of choice for breakfast. I would happily stay here again. Even had a scarecrow trail whilst I was there with an amazing entry at the guesthouse."

"Lovely room, however kettle was in the hallway, not an issue for me but had to keep reminding myself to pick up the key. Parking was challenging and in the early week you have to travel to eat, so car is needed"

"We had a lovely few days the owners are lovely people very clean accommodation breakfast lovely 😍 would recommend this b and b to anybody wanting to stay at sidmouth."

"Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun."

"The proprietors have thought absolutely everything, full range of teas, two wine glasses complete with suitable snacks, comfortable beds, a spacious shower, lovely garden and the most extensive breakfast menu we've ever seen. The only downside for us was that we got the last and smallest room. There was only room for one chair in the narrow space around the kingsized bed. In the end we bought a folding chair in from our car but still had to sit either side of the bed! Everything would be fine...

"Will be interested to go back in a few years when they have made progress with the garden"

"Beautiful, comfortable and cosy room in lovely location. We felt at home. Excellent breakfast"
