"The communal pool which was opposite the villa had showers and toilts, the pool was huge with comfortable beds around it. Quite a few tiles had come away on the bottom of the pool in rhe shallow end, but apart from that it was a great addition to the holiday. 5 mins drive to the centre of town with 3 good sized public car parks. The villa itself was very cool and comfortable."

However that comes with a couple of kilometre drive along a hilly country road which is in part unmade. If hiring a car, something to consider. "Casa 14 was everything we were looking for . Quiet tranquil location yet not too far from the village for its bars , restaurants and historic centre . The outside ares and pool were beautifully maintained and the villa was really well equipped. We spent a month at Casa 14 but could happily stayed longer. A very tranquil relaxing atmosphere. The owners ,Mathilde and Jim ,were so helpful and always responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely return to this gorgeous property ."

"We stayed here for 5 nights in November. This one bed villa is located 10 minutes away from Lake Vinuella up a windy dirt track road behind the village of Los Romanes. We met our lovely host Paul who showed us the way to the villa. We drove there in a mini convertible. The villa can be found high up on the hillside with fantastic views of the mountains and sea.
