"Generally positive experience. The house was not as isolated as we anticipated. In fact there was a fair amount of traffic on the rough road behind. Lots of bird life - especially macaws. And lots of monkeys. The beach is not really a swimming beach because of the rocky bottom, but Matapalo beach is only about a 25 minute walk away. We stayed three nights, which was enough. We went to Corcovado by boat and highly recommend it. Stay right where you are or go for long walks. Both ways you will see so much wildlife. The houses are comfortable and well outfitted.
