Tranquility
We really enjoyed our stay, so much we didnt want to leave. So peaceful & so much space to enjoy. The only thing i wasn't impressed to find was the outhouse toilet & bench was covered in crap, which repulsed me to no end!! That is what lost one star.

Family stay for the summer
It was very basic and the washroom was quite far from the house. It had a lot of great supplies but could sure use a good cleaning. Was very cozy once we got settled.

Perfect glamping getaway
Quiet country environment in a rustic cabin for a recovery weekend. Exactly what we needed for final days with our dearly beloved senior dog. The cabin had everything we needed for meals, sheets were clean, and the owner made a great recommendation for a beach we could get to with our doggo. He really enjoyed the sniffs and the deer head he found while on walkies. And we made good use of the grass yard for naps and the firepit.

Lots to explore
The sauna was a fun added touch. Lakes are close by and lots to explore. The host stopped communicating when I expressed some concerns.

Unplugged reset
My husband and I had a great time at this cabin. It was great to unplug. Our dogs loved being able to run around the property while we walked the little trail along the property. The hosts were responsive to our questions and check-in was well communicated.

Family Getaway
We had a great time. Was happy to see there was some supplies there …. coffee (n toppings ), toilet paper , paper plates/cups/utensils,napkins,propane , water , garbage bags. We especially enjoyed the privacy and the amount of spacious land it was on .Was awsome to see how the wood was already prepped and an abundance supply of it n sauna prepping already set up making it easy and convenient to use . Working stove , fridge and microwave. Only suggestions to update would be some plug in fans for summer as there is no a/c , updated toaster as it didn’t work , and the lights/plug ins in one of the rooms didn’t work. And we wish that there had been more game boards and a couple out door equipment for jids/adults to stay entertained. The store was very close making it convenient. We will definitely be back in, thankx to the owners/management and the site that’s helped with info and booking. To go take a collection

Wintertime Lakeland snowmobile ice fishing trip .
We took an adventure to a cabin on a property that we thought was a great location for backcountry snowmobiling and ice fishing on remote lakes with limited access . We were a bit worried about the wood burning heater but it was definitely adequate in any weather . It was -20 c average and it was as warm as we wanted it . We had a well for water that was just fine and easy to access . We got the sauna up to temp and had a really great experience . Perfect set up wood heat with a heated change room and an outdoor covered deck . The many lakes in the area were within minutes to access . There is a local store that is stocked with anything you need even fresh baked buns , pizza , bait , gas and liquor . All in all we loved it but it’s not for everyone . If you don’t mind using an outhouse or keeping a fire or pumping your water from a well , then I’d say it’s perfect . We will be back that’s for sure !
