"We stayed in a apartment for 5 nights. It was on the ground floor and it took us 1 min to walk from our room to the magical beach of Porto Santo. The room was big and cozy and it felt good to stay there. The breakfast was nice. The only negative thing about our stay was the fact the pool was close due to urgent repair work. This wasn´t known when we booked and we only found out when we arrived. The hotel offered no compensation was offer for this. But with the hotel being on the beach this issue...

"Wir verbrachten 2 herrliche Wochen im Casa do Retiro. Alles war perfekt: Ausstattung des Hauses, Lage ( der Weg zum Strand durch eine alte, dichte Palmenallee war jedes Mal ein besonderes Vergnügen), die Ruhe und ein Gefühl der Sicherheit in der Anlage. Wir wurden sehr herzlich und warm empfangen mit einem großen Obstkorb, Weihnachtskuchen und Gebäck, einer Flasche Champagner, und fürs Frühstück war ebenfalls alles vorhanden. Wir möchten das Casa do Retiro unbedingt empfehlen!! Ganz lieben Dank...

"If you're looking for a modern and boutique experience, this is the place to stay. We were there for two nights, three days and really enjoyed our stay. The property is modern, clean and very no frills. The breakfast buffet and food options for lunch are terrific! We ate dinner at local restaurants, so can't really speak much on the dinner options. The location is nicely set back from the beach, however, it's about a 5-8 min walk down a road located in front of the hotel. Beach...
