"Bar service very good. Had what i wanted in stock. The room i had was newly decorated to a very high standard so much so i will be requesting that one again. The morning staff as friendly as the evening staff which makes a real difference as i was treated like a person and not a number. "

"Good comfortable room, lots of tea, coffe, nice bar and lovely grounds. Probably would gave rated higher but noisy event on and was awakened by noisy people in the early hours (not hotels fault). Disadvantage is the place is like a rabbit warren and you'll need your hiking boots as rooms are far from reception."

"Every member of staff we met was very welcoming and friendly. Some nice touches for dogs staying overnight. Food was very good and great value. Comfortable room/beds and quiet despite being just off the M6. Bathroom a bit small but perhaps the consequence of being a family room and more space given over to beds. Will definitely stay again. "
