"This Vila is a great location between Salema, Sagres and Lagos! We only had a one night stay but really enjoyed our time. The host Filipa was so friendly and hospitable, great communication, and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend for couples or family/groups!"

"Excellent property. The staff is friendly, the breakfast was amazing and the checkout is at 12:00pm which is great. The only thing it needs is a gym and a spa and it would be perfect. "
"The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...

"This hotel was a highlight for our trip through Portugal. The room was very spacious for 3 of us and we had a nice terrace that overlooked a beautiful pool. The breakfast and bar service were wonderful. At breakfast, one of the staff members gave us recommendations for 2 beautiful beaches to visit - Salema and Arifana (need a car to reach both but both are stunning!). This area is quiet and had a calm/relaxing vibe. The restaurants in town are very nice! We definitely plan to return and highly recommend to anyone!"

"We loved Burgau. The VRBO was great for us. It was a little hard to find. That was the only difficulty. The apartment had what we needed. It was right across the street from 2 restaurants. We loved the view from the upstairs balcony. We would gladly stay here again. It was great for the two of us. It would be tight for any more than 3 or so. "
