Staybridge Suites Anaheim At The Park by IHG

"Pros: The hotel was in a great location, the staff was friendly, the pool and fire pit area were well maintained Cons: the hotel is run down. The pull out couch in our room was completely broken, you couldn't sit on it let alone sleep on it, so my youngest ended up having to sleep on a makeshift bed on the lounger. When we talked to the front desk about it the response was "the hotel is old and hasn't been renovated in awhile." IHG has a "clean promise" that states they come in daily and make your beds, empty garbages and restock your supplies. After day 4 of this not happening and our garbages overflowing, we had to request someone come do this for us. I ended up still having to remake the beds after they came, because they didn't actually make the beds, they just smoothed out the top sheet. We had to ask for clean towels and dishwasher tabs, nothing else was restocked while we were there. The carpet had stains all over it The pool was icy cold The kitchen wasn't well stocked The breakfast was ok, but it was the same thing every day and there was never anywhere to sit. The last day we were there, they opened up "additional seating" but it was basically a room used as storage. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel, and I would not stay there again"

Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel

"I chose to stay at this hotel despite its poor reviews solely because they offered a shuttle to Disney. Truly I wish I chose somewhere else. We ended up walking to Disney which was only about 30 minute walk away. The garden area is beautiful but the rooms were extremely outdated and have no amenities. For the price you pay you should at least have your own microwave in the room.. the food they offer at the hotel is way too over priced. The most annoying thing I had come to find out is that you pay for parking. It’s 25$ plus 17% tax to park your car at your hotel every day. It’s a giant rip off and I would have rather stayed at one of the motels near by. Probably would have gotten complimentary breakfast 🙄."

"The outside of the hotel is AWFUL. Broken signs, the gate around the parking lot is bent and broken. There is bird poop everywhere. The hand rails, stairs, literally everywhere. We’ve been staying at this hotel for about 4-5 years because the size of the rooms for the price is great but they’re under new ownership (I think the girl said) and it’s gone way downhill. The room was fine, it was decently clean but the exterior was gross and the lobby smelled like dirty mop water all 3 times we went in there. They offer “breakfast” but two of the four waffle makers were broken so we had bread or cereal to choose from. Not really a breakfast spread. We won’t stay here again, which is sad because we come to California several times a year and this has been our go to hotel for quite some time."

"The check-in process was great. We did have problems with our keys every day not working. The breakfast was very good. It had eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, bagels with cream cheese to name a few. The shuttle to Disneyland worked out beautifully."
