"We stayed at Motel 6 in mid-June and, overall, had a much better experience than I expected based on some of the reviews. I was especially worried about the air conditioning because several reviews mentioned it didn't work well, but that wasn't our experience at all. The AC worked great in fact, the room got so cold that we didn't even need the fan we brought with us. The room was clean, and the staff was absolutely wonderful. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. The location is also a huge plus. It's conveniently close to Knott's Berry Farm and Disneyland, and despite being near a busy area, we couldn't hear traffic from our room. The biggest downside was the beds. Unfortunately, they were some of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept on. They felt like little more than springs with almost no support, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. If the beds were updated, this would easily be a much higher-rated stay. Overall, though, the clean room, great AC, excellent staff, and convenient location made for a positive visit."

"The hotel was nice and quiet. The proximity to the park was very nice. The restaurant offers a breakfast buffet that was very good. There is a good size pool on the property and there was very nice young man who took our drink orders poolside. Not much to do there if you’re not interested in going to the park, but we enjoyed our stay. We could have used some extra counter space in the bathroom and the AC was not cooling off the room very well. All in all, we had a great time and we would go back to the hotel again in the future. Just one more thing I did not realize about the hotel stay is the twenty five dollar a night fee for parking there. Because we booked through a third party, we were charged for parking. My opinion, parking should be free for hotel guests."

"Checking in was fast Front desk staff was pleasant and we got a beautiful upgraded room. Kids were impressed with room , wish we could have stayed in upgrade room with refrig and extra amenities. Kids love the water park."

"In general the hotel is fairly good, the room was clean and it had all the necessary amenities needed for the average traveler. The front desk personnel are very helpful and professional, The only disappointment was the mattress was too squeaky and hard, caused back pain to my wife and myself, I regretted not asking for another room after the first night with better beds. Spending 3 nights with back pain every morning was not a good experience, hopefully management would review the quality and condition of their mattresses and correct the problem, so other travelers don’t have to go through what we had experienced. We had to extend our stay for an extra day, thankfully this room had a quieter AC unit and better mattress, so unless you book a 5 star hotel, you are bound to have some not so nice surprises. The hotel offers breakfast, I don’t know if it can be called continental breakfast, we couldn’t find any fresh fruit or fresh fruit juice, we ended up just grabbing a cup of water because of the high hard carbs snd sugary drinks, so again, you get what you pay for, another undisclosed surprise was the fact that when the reservation was made I was under the impression that it was a flat per room fee, but after looking at the bill, Saturday and Sunday were charged at a higher rate than Monday and Friday, I guess this practice is common but undisclosed at the time of the reservation. Location: it’s very good and walking distance to restaurants / knott’s Berry Fms."
