"Host was great with the communication before our stay. Excellent little accommodation for exploring all the best beaches in North Cornwall. Chalet was basic but cosy and had most things we needed other than no iron and no Wi Fi connection, phone signal was non existent but was actually nice to escape all the tech and shut off for a few days. The pool was great and we went in there every day of our 3 night stay. The pub and bar were a nice addition and had some kids entertainment, music and bingo on the evenings during our stay which our 5 year old enjoyed and there was a little climbing play area for him too. Food was also served in the pub which was OK but maybe a tad overpriced. For supermarkets and stores, a short drive to Bude was needed this was less than 10 mins drive away from the accommodation. We visited Widemouth bay beach which we drove just a few minutes to which was beautiful with a little cafe which served Gluten free baps. On day 2 we visited a beach in Bude called Summerleaze beach which was stunning with soft warm sand and crystal clear waters, we collected some lovely rocks and searched for creatures in the rock pools, really pretty beach and Black Rock beach was right next to it which also looked beautiful. On our drive back to the chalet, we pulled up in a lay by and admired the views from above the cliff edges, stunning. I was sad to leave and hope to visit again soon and would not hesitate to stay at the same property again."

"We had the most wonderful stay at Bude on the Beach while celebrating our anniversary. We were so pleased to be surprised with a room upgrade, which made our stay even more special. When we got to our room, we found a lovely handwritten anniversary note waiting for us – such a thoughtful gesture that really made us smile. The staff were fantastic throughout our stay. Every single person we spoke to was warm, friendly and genuinely helpful, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. It’s those little touches and the excellent service that really set this hotel apart. The location is unbeatable, with beautiful sea views and just a short walk to everything Bude has to offer. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a few days away. We honestly couldn’t fault our stay and we left already talking about when we would return. Thank you to everyone at Bude on the Beach for making our anniversary so memorable. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return!"
Lovely Self Catering Holiday Bungalow in North Cornwall - Sleeps 4

"Very lovely and peaceful holiday home. We enjoyed it very much. Very homy atmosphere with all the bits and bobs we will ever need during holiday stay. It was like walking into family home.Short walk there are 2 pubs and 2 shops and The Stowe venue. Beaches are near by in short distance to drive. What else you need. Parking on street, but plentiful space. Hope we will come back there in the future. Definitely 5* stay for us!"

"An exemplary five‑star experience. Our host for the week Kara was excellent throughout our stay. Every detail was considered, including the thoughtful addition of an extra tea bag to accommodate my preference for stronger tea. The room — and indeed the entire establishment — was immaculate, fresh, and warmly inviting (the locally produced crockery was a nice touch). Breakfast offered a variety of options, each prepared to a consistently high standard. The scrambled eggs with salmon were particularly noteworthy. A further highlight was the morning toast, made with Kara’s homemade bread that set the tone for the day. The overall experience was so impressive that we confirmed our booking for next year before departing. Highly recommended — a genuine 5 ⭐️"

"Great weekend. Thankyou. Lovely big house. At times there were 14 of us. It did not feel like it. Great kitchen table that easily fitted 14 just so much space and lots of sofas. Garden was really nice with great views out to widemouth bay"

"The room was fine, although for some reason there weren't any hangers in the wardrobe. I was thankful for ice from the bar downstairs (it was another very hot day), and also for the quiet neighbourhood. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again."

"Windover was a lovely spacious bungalow very well equipped with everything you need.The conservatory was a great place to have breakfast.It was the perfect base for our holiday with our Son.Wouldn’t hesitate to book again."
