"The scenery is beautiful at Peaks of Otter Lodge. Staff in the bar are very helpful and friendly."

"This is not the 4 seasons, but as a budget hotel it hit all the marks I needed on a 1 day stop. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was easy and decent. Staff was polite, helpful, clean, and well functioning. Only downside I could hear the highway (low hum) from my room, but it wasn't an issue. The hotel was fairly full of travelers on a random fall weekday - many of them seemed to be contract workers, and others were people passing through like me (I...

"Very helpful and nice."

"very quiet, very clean pet area needed garbage to be removed"

"Tres pres de la 81"

"Breakfast is very basic. Don't expect it to be enough to hold you down until lunch. Very basic cinder-block building. Tiny rooms. Hard flooring. No carpet. Accessible bathroom good though. Ample parking. Walmart, Food Lion not far. Close to (Falling Creek Park) or decently-close to where I was going (Ivy Hill Golf Course for pro disc golf Powerball Cup). Could also work for Champions Cup. Decent place to rest your head."

"New hotel pretty nice"

"Amenities, particulate in bathroom are minimal. This is is place for business travelers and those chunking their travels on I-81, not a five star hotel, but good place to rest your head."

"Clean"

"Very friendly staff. Good location for my trip. Great price, room had hot shower, comfortable bed, working tv, wifi, mini frig and microwave, working heat. There was some cosmetic issues here and there and an old chair I didn't use. Nothing that interfered with my needs. There was some occasional train noise but not enough that it woke me up. Breakfast was enough for the price. Did have to ask for items to be refilled but that was taken care of quickly. Very carb heavy, some apples. Great spot...

"Pretty bare bones. There was only soap bars, no shampoo, I used the soap for my hair. The coffee bar the next morning only had powdered creamer. No chest of drawers for your clothes, just a few shelves. Room was clean, but highway noisy, even though it's set off a large distance."

"Stayed on the wellness hall in a pure room. Very nice touches with the hepa filter of you have concerns about allergens etc. great hotel and location"
