Self Contained Mountain Escape in Jasper Alberta Area

Located in the hamlet of Brule, a one hour drive to the Jasper townsite and close to many of the Jasper area sights and outdoor activities, this house is perfect for those wanting to bask in the quiet serene nature of the mountains, for hikers, skiers and thrill seekers. The house is a short walk to the park boundary, and a 15 minute drive to the eastern Jasper National Park gate. The location has it all. Everything was made new 5 years ago. The main floor is fully renovated and there are two extra bedrooms downstairs in the partially renovated basement. It has every modern convenience, and can sleep up to 6 people comfortably. Large windows to maximize the view of the mountains and the park across the street and as an added bonus the filtered water comes right off the mountain with a taste that can't compare. Completing the convenience found on the inside of the house are 3 sitting areas on the outside. A large deck on the back, a covered patio on the side, and a veranda on the front complete the experience. For those that want to stay connected, the house includes 3 large TVs, two with satellite.

Great place to stay for a family

The location was peaceful and quiet. It was a beautiful drive to Brule. Our disappointment was that the park pass was not there for our stay.

Beautiful area

Lovely house in a lovely quiet area. Property had everything we needed. Is a bit of a drive from Jasper but worth it for the peace and quiet with spectacular views nearby. Can see the mountains from the property and we also saw deer. Would stay here again.

Quiet, peaceful home near Jasper

My teenager, adult children, and I enjoyed our stay at this property. It was easy to find, clean, and located in a quiet neighborhood. A 20-minute drive from Hinton and 60-minute drive from Jasper make it the perfect place to get away and enjoy nature.

Amazing stay in Brule!

A nice home in the beautiful town of Brule. Property was great for what we needed and Darren was really quick to communicate with! The bbq was non functional but we made due without it. Would absolutely stay here again!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean and had a lot of room for 5 adults. It was nice being able to enjoy sitting out on the front porch or enjoying BBQing in the backyard. Was a great location. Darren is a great host who made the stay great! Would definitely stay again.

This is a beautiful community and a peaceful space. Shopping is accessible to stock up with groceries. Wonderful option for group or family to enjoy the natural surroundings. Jasper is a reasonable drive away. Owner is friendly and happy to share history of the area and help with any questions or concerns. I will stay again.

Home was comfy, well equipped and peaceful. There’s a nice playground across the street that even our teens enjoyed. About 30 minutes to gate of Jasper Park and an hour to the town of Jasper.

Sublime respite

Could have stayed so much longer as we had everything we needed in Brule. Next time we’ll checkout the local amenities and trails and not focus only on Jasper.

Brule - A Peaceful Sanctuary

Comfortable homely place with loads of space & amenities to make our stay a real pleasure. Brule is great if you want peace & tranquility. Views of the local hills & mountains stunning in the Fall. Watched a few DVDs when the weather closed in!

Brule mountain getaway

This was a perfect location for us. We had a wedding reception across the street. The bride lives around the corner. Park across the road for 3 yr old to play in. 4 bedrooms for 6 adults and a child. Hinton is only a 20-25 minute drive if you want groceries or dinner. The mountain view is spectacular

Mountain vacation

We had a great time visiting Jasper National Park. The location was convenient just west of Hinton. The property was older with small rooms and no closets, 1 bathroom and the only mirror in the house and no dressers. There were 4 adults sharing the space for several days, but we made do. Overall, it was ok.

A quiet place to come home to

It's a simple house with excellent renovations and a well-stocked kitchen. The back yard was quiet, and there wasn't a peep from the neighbours. Just be sure to come with your groceries before arriving in Brule. It's a bit far to go back and forth to Jasper every day (if that's what you want to do) but the value and the comfort are well worth it. A great getaway!

Clean roomy home in Brule

My friends and I had a nice time in this home on the outskirts of Jasper National Park. It is a little over an hour back to the town of Jasper, but there are plenty of hikes between Brule and Jasper. The landlord was helpful and provided options for hiking. The house is well stocked and has many updated features. We found it quite comfortable, and would recommend it .

Fabulous time in Brule!

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the property. Check in was very easy, and Darren made himself accessible if we needed him. The mountain views were amazing. We would love to stay here again. I knocked off one star for accuracy as the first bedroom doesn't have bunk beds but a twin bed and the BBQ (which we were looking forward to using) was not maintained. There was still lots of space for us all. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.
