"Lovely stay at the Mount Royal, the outside is unassuming but it’s gorgeous inside. Our room was great, spacious and the upgrade to the castle view was most definitely worth it, just being able to sit with a hot drink and admire the view made the stay 10x better."

"The hotel was very nice. Enjoyed the deep bathtub with a relaxing bath after a cold day of walking around Edinburgh Castle. The staff was especially wonderful, helping us with questions about the heater and tub faucets. I didn't get her name, but I believe she was the manager or someone in charge, very accommodating and friendly and to Katie at the front desk who was very helpful and always pleasant and friendly."
