"The hotel sent an email the day before arrival saying my reservation was cancelled due to "unavoidable circumstances". There was no additional explanation given. No refund was mentioned either and I was told to refer back to Hotels.com for any possible refund. This was the weekend of the local University's Homecoming/Student Preview which I was attending so it was impossible to find a replacement hotel on such short notice. My friends in the area said it was a good thing to not stay here though....

"We came over from Ft. Worth for our son’s wedding in Blanket. This house was just what we needed. It was 30 minutes to the wedding in Blanket snd 30 minutes to Brownwood. House was clean and just as the pictures showed. Lots of rain but did not hamper our rest. Beautiful view of Lake Brownwood in the backyard. Thanks for a wonderful weekend for our family."

"The house was a great resting spot for a family trip. There is ample space for everyone to get comfortable, including a large yard for the dog to run around. The large soaking tub can provide some relaxation after a long drive. A great place to stay!"

"We came to Brownwood for a baseball tournament but wanted the boys to be able to fish. Five families stayed in two of the properties and had a great time! The houses were perfect and the dock was amazing. We would love to come back!"
