"The property was easily found by using a Sat Nav.
The property inside and outside was very clean. There is a narrow gravel drive up to the property so Parking was in the village square which was a short walk around the outside of the pub, so not recommended for disabled as there is also steps up to the entrance door.
The entrance was a wooden decking which had a range of colorful potted plants and well maintained.
The owner was very helpful with directions and places to visit and eat...

"The Anchor Inn is an absolute gem!
The rooms are a good size and well-appointed, if perhaps a little dated.
Super friendly and accommodating staff, nothing was too much trouble.
The real surprise was the restaurant. I would recommend trying out the food, even if you're not staying at the Inn. The food was locally sourced, all fresh and well prepared and presented.
All in all a very pleasant two night stay.
I would highly recommend, and have recommended The Anchor Inn to family and friends.
This will now be my go to place to stay when in the Plymouth area."

"We loved staying at the Colmer Estate. Comfortable, homely and with all the mod cons. The estate is stunning and the indoor pool was fantastic entertainment (we stayed for October half term). The location is brilliant for exploring Dartmoor, Dartmouth, Plymouth and Totnes, as well as Pennywell Farm and Crealy theme park. Lorraine couldn’t have been more wonderful, sending us lots of useful information beforehand and welcoming us with lots of goodies to enjoy. Would stay again and thoroughly recommend! "
