Great location for exploring up and down the coast. Several familiar fast food options plus local flair options. Check out the icecream at the Slug and Stone at Brookings Harbor.

Lots of little beach areas to take in views. Found sea glass on McVay Rock beach! Easy access to NorCal redwood areas.

Brookings is a nice town I've spent much downtime in the last 20 years. Lots of scenery, beautiful beaches. That town has many great festivals and things to do but is still mostly uncrowdeed and small town atmosphere. Lots of good small restaurants.

Small town with a cute harbor. Most restaurants close by 9, so plan accordingly. On holidays may close even earlier. Convenient spot to stay to explore Southern Oregon Coast and CA Redwoods.

The neighboring property had homeless people living on it. Although they were out of sight to the naked eye, Once you could see them, all you saw was multiple tents and trash. Hopefully Brookings will get a hold on their homeless situation.

Harris Beach State Park is beautiful, and our favorite beach on the Oregon Coast- especially Lone Ranch beach

It's our favorite of the beaches! My family has a house there and we love this place so much, we stay here to get away. We live in Grants Pass, Oregon.

Fred Meyer super store is just a couple of blocks down the road, and plenty of restaurant options and gas station options.
"The property in general was average. The pool was nice even though we didn't use it 😔 The woman at the front desk, Amanda, was pleasant and let is check in early which was very very nice! The room smelled like urine when we first entered. The smell eventually went away after the first night. It was noisy only because of kids. The boy upstairs was body slamming himself for three hours straight. We tried to be understanding since "quiet time" was 10pm. Even after the front desk asked the parents to have him settle down, it still went on for an hour and a half. Luckily it did stop at 10. It was nice for the price and location. "
"What a fantastic piece of property. The views are stunning just as advertised. Patrick and Barbara were great hosts and stock the room with everything you might need. I would definitely stay here again next time we visit Brookings. "
"This location was perfect for going to all the places within an 2 hours of brookings. The staff is super friendly and helpful. There are good restaurants and tidal pools close by. The harbor is a lot of fun to go through. Brookings is a great little town. The hotel condition could use a little touch up, but it doesn’t take away from the experience."
Welcome to the Harris Beach House, located ON the beach with private access!

"Always a wonderful time at the Harris Beach house in Brookings. This was our 6th time staying there. It’s fully stocked, lots of space for families and you can’t beat sitting on the deck watching the sunsets. Our only complaint this last time was the trail to the beach was becoming overgrown. We hope to be back again soon. "
"Loved the apartment feel. It was clean and neat. Very nice staff. Friendly. I highly recommend to my friends and anyone else looking for reasonable priced and clean place to stay. Close to the beach and harbor. "
