"Loved the staff, all were super friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable but the duvet was a weird weighted ribbed tablecloth situation versus a blanket. The hotel is in need of repairs like ripped carpets, light in hallway hanging off the wall, the entire wooden wall with the air conditioner against the window was coming off the wall. The ice machine on our floor was out of order. For being 15 floors up the road below is surprisingly loud at night and so we used the fan which did a lot of clanky noises but worked. The towels were super soft and the water pressure was amazing. Not having a coffee maker in the room was a bummer, there was a coffee station in the lobby but nothing for making tea so I asked the front desk for hot water, I brought my own tea, they were very nice about getting water. It was unclear who the valet people were since there was no valet podium. As a result I pulled into the side up the garage entryway where the valet clearly had an office and we had to rush unloading there and apparently in the process I lost a shoe which never showed up in the lost and found. I feel it was overpriced but still had a nice stay and the view of the lake was beautiful"

"1st time stay in downtown Chicago and the hotel is placed perfectly near everything! Lots of food choice options everywhere and tour options just a block away. We took the"L" from the airport with just a short walk, no need for a car. They held our luggage for us at checkout so that we could enjoy one last tour before we left. Definitely would come back to this hotel."

"Tub did not drain properly, the down button on the 6th floor elevator didn't function. The A/C fan unit was very noisy and there was no thermostat to control the temperature only fan speed. The location was the best."
