"This hotel is in an old building and it shows in places. The shower was poor and the hot water took a long time to arrive, windows didn't open properly and the TV wouldn't show terrestrial channels (we reported this but the hotel staff couldn't make it work). On the plus side, the breakfast menu was excellent with great, freshly prepared dishes and homemade bread and served by an extremely helpful member of staff. But this was let down slightly by the cheap, nasty, plastic packets of jam which seemed at odds with the quality of the rest. This is primarily a wedding venue but a very nice place to stay midweek, quiet and comfortable."

"Such a pleasant stay, 20 minutes or so from Redditch Town centre , in a beautiful area , lovely and quiet. Staff were easily some of the most pleasant, kind and helpful I've ever come across. I had a single room with single bed ( staying away for work) and I was worried the single bed would be small, it wasn't and also lovely and comfortable. Room was small but very pleasant. Also food was good in the Bistro/ bar and a lovely massive TV to watch the world cup football on. A perfect stay from start to finish and a bargain price. Will never stay anywhere else now, I was seeking a regular hotel for my twice a month trips to office. Found!"

"Stayed a few times now. Rooms are getting a bit tired however they are immaculately clean. The shower pressure leaves a bit to be desired. However the staff are soo helpful and friendly and always seem cheery! The beer garden in the hot weather is a big plus plus it has a children's play area. I do enjoy my stays here and the food is good too. Good value for money"
