"A great welcome, very friendly, lovely, comfy, spacious room. Mouth watering meals and great choice of drinks. Although we had a lovely Valentine meal, we were in the public bar, next to the bar which was a bit noisy, table in the restaurant would have been preferred for a bit more privacy. Still we had a wonderful stay."

"We had a very warm welcome from excellent hosts. The Great House was beautifully presented and a house with fascinating history. We totally relaxed with a hot tub and freshly baked picnic whilst we were there. The walking in the area is beautiful and I recommend a visit here. "

"We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful stately home. Bridget, Bas and all the other staff we met were charming, friendly and accommodating, including agreeing to bring forward our stay at almost no notice even though we had a fixed, non-refundable booking through hotels.com. This enabled us to visit just before coronavirus restrictions came into place and we had the place to ourselves most of the time. The cooked breakfast was very good. "Lovely hot bath ideal after walking coastal path. In the centre of the town with all amenities, plus coast path and cliff railway. Very good value. Basic but clean and comfortable with everything you need in the room. Excellent service from Rachel at Reception who was friendly and helpful and recommended a brilliant place to eat."
