"Excellent location and wonderful room"

"The location and on-street parking were good, and the staff were very helpful. The 'Deluxe' room was cramped and had only one chair, but was otherwise good. The rather expensive breakfast had limited choice of cereals and fruit, and no yogurt, which did not suit our preferences."

"A lovely little hotel situated near Peasholm Park. 10 minutes from North Bay and a scenic 35 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride to South Bay (the more lively bay). Staff were excellent and the hotel is spotlessly clean. Food wise, do note that this hotel caters predominantly for the recently retired crowd (a very reasonably priced but very British menu such as kippers for breakfast and syrup sponge pudding with custard for pudding) We were the only people under 65 that I saw during my October...

"This is my favourite place to stay. Clean rooms with everything you need for a short stay. The food is amazing and plenty of choice. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend"

"All OK. Nice enough room. Very small bathroom. Lots of signs around telling you what you're not allowed to do. Good location for the West Cliff."

"Although a comfortable stay a few things were not to the standard that would warrant the room price. 1) only one pack of biscuits for two people not good 2) a significant number of cobwebs around the corners of the room, ceilings and floors 3) towels had marks on them 4) for a two night stay I would have expected the room to be cleaned, towels to be changed, clean coffee cups and coffee/biscuits replenished 5) no breakfast provided, I have stayed in cheaper places with breakfast provided. "Great stay, great location , short walk in to town and beach , great parkings included. Break great Peppa (dog) always has her sausage too. Really toasty hot room. Stayed few times we will be back for sure"

"Peter and Stuart are great hosts who ensure your stay will be good. Bed comfy, heating and ventilation good, WiFi 100%, and a little fridge to store the fresh milk. Wonderful breakfast. From just outside their hotel, you can walk down through Peasholm Park during hot daylight hours and keep cool under the trees. We walked back up from the seafront on the well lit roadside. Thank you for a lovely stay."
