We loved the location, which is absolutely perfect, right in the centre of Broadway. The room was ideal for two friends staying for one night, and the beds were very comfortable. The pub itself was cosy and welcoming, the food was enjoyable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It would be really helpful if it were made clearer in advance that there is no parking at the property and that guests need to use a nearby pay-and-display car park. When we arrived, this car park was very busy, with a long queue of cars waiting for people to leave and spaces to become available. There were a few small but easily rectified issues that slightly let the room down. Given the inn’s location in such an upmarket area, these weren’t quite what we had expected. The sash windows had a considerable amount of black mould, which is common in older buildings, but more regular cleaning would make a noticeable difference, particularly as the tea and coffee facilities were positioned on the window sill. Unfortunately, we were also unable to use them as no milk was provided. In the bathroom, the toilet seat would benefit from being replaced, as the yellow staining around it detracted from the overall impression of cleanliness. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and feel that with a few small improvements, the experience could be even better.

A truly pub old fashioned Inn experience.

A very old quaint pub, walls are very thick so room is quiet. Floor is quite uneven due to its age. Bed very firm, if you like that…

Nice if a little tired.

Room 6 is above the kitchen and you can hear the staff going about their work. It's an old building so I understand the sound proofing isn't going to be to modern standards, just be aware.
