"I booked one nights stay as my daughter and I were at Badminton Horse Trials. I had not researched the location before going so was amazed to enter the beautiful village of Lacock. The whole place is unique and the property is so beautiful. We were met by our hosts Rufus and his wife and they could not have been more welcoming. "We had a fantastic time here, albeit a short stay. There was bread and milk in each of the 3 accomodations, which was a lovely suprise. When we had a problem with the electrics (following a storm) we were helped promptly. And the little additions like complimentary slippers and pool towels were lovely. "While we enjoyed our stay there were some downsides. The apartment is right by a major road so it literally shakes when large lorries pass. There is no oven which makes self catering more challenging and fitting round the table was difficult. The sofa bad was also very uncomfortable which means that we would not recommend for more than 2 people "
