"This is a nice hotel/motel ideal if you are sailing from Plymouth or arriving back on the ferry. The room was spacious enough for 2 and very clean. The bed linen and towels snowy white. It has a nice bar and we were made very welcome, we had our evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant both were well presented and very tasty. I would definitely recommend."

"Located a short walk from the centre but with parking makes it really convenient. The views over the estuary from its open, elevated position are wonderful. However, it's the staff that made this a memorable stay - everyone I saw had a smile and went the extra mile. Oh, and the breakfast was first-class."

"Well situated hotel set in beautiful grounds. 5 minute walk to the beach. Room unfortunately faced the road and made the room noisy, the beds were uncomfortable and I suspect the mattresses need replacing. Lovely refurbished pool and the staff were helpful. Food was very average, Hotel was 3 star and I think that was a fair mark"

"Room was ok needs updating, sink taps need attention, cracks in sink and shower tray, but they didn't leak so that was good, perhaps they will get round to it as it looks like there doing bits to hotel."
