"The Cottage is very cosy but smelt of damp when we walked in, there was a terrible smell under the sink! There were no black out blinds or curtains in the bedroom, the quilt is not big enough and the bed and mattress was so uncomfortable. The bathroon could do with a good clean and the bathroom door does not close properly, loved the area and the local pub!! "

"My daughter and I had such a lovely time at the hotel and spa, Rudolph greeted us with his lovely smile and willingness to help during our stay at the hotel,the food at Wilfreds was amazing and every member of staff were polite and attentive,we also had a day at the spa,wow!what an experience,it exceeded our expectations,the lovely Lorna looked after us ,the whole experience from the massage the facilities the food , cleanliness and especially the staff was amazing ."

"I recently stayed at this apartment and overall had a good experience. The place is modern and in excellent condition, and most areas of the property were very comfortable with no complaints. Communication with the support team was smooth, they were responsive and helpful throughout my stay. That said, there were a couple of drawbacks. The kitchen was much smaller than expected; it’s difficult for more than two people to be in there at the same time. Additionally, the listing mentioned a dishwasher, but there wasn’t one in the apartment, which was disappointing. Despite these caveats, I still enjoyed my stay and would recommend this place, especially if the kitchen space and the missing dishwasher isn’t a major concern."

"lovely place i would suggest that the shower tray has some non-slip pads or a mat as we were a bit frightened of falling The door handles were very stiff & as we are elderly we found them difficult to turn. The kitchen door needs planing as it sticks on the floor. Overall we were very pleased with the accomodation & would recomend it"

"Fantastic weekend break in Colne for my partners birthday. The place couldn't have been more perfect - The sauna in the bedroom and large hot tub outside were fantastic additions - the place itself was huge and immaculate. The bed was very comfortable with USB ports and plug sockets built into the bedside tables, the sofa in the living room was also very comfortable and both the living room and bedroom had huge tvs to enjoy when the weather wasn't great in the evenings!The hosts very kindly (and at very late notice) arranged for some birthday balloons to be added as well as leaving a lovely basket of snacks for our arrival. Very private and quiet despite being just off a busy road, overlooking the trees to the rear. Whilst staying we visited two fantastic restaurants nearby (Eight by the Gazegill - around 20 minute drive) and Fabellos in Foulridge (Around 5-10 minute drive) - Colne itself is nice to have a wander around with plenty of places to stop for a drink and plenty of lovely places to go walking. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting - Thank you very much for having us!"
