"This quaint cottage is very comfortable for up to 4 people, but be aware there is just one TV (in living room). If you need more viewing options, bring a laptop or tablet and your subscription passwords! The internet was slow at times, but cellular service and data was much worse. Owner supplies a roll of toilet paper, paper towel, all linens (except beach towels), and even some extras in case you've forgotten something. There is one grocery store on the island -- Ocracoke Variety Store -- which has a decent supply of fresh food, ready-to-eat items, personal care products, beach supplies, and more, but it is kind of expensive. Beds are very comfortable. Each room has its own mini-split unit and ceiling fan, making it easy to feel as cool or warm as you need. The screened porch is large and has a variety of furniture to seat about 10 people. There are two doors to access the yard and a ceiling fan with lighting, making it a great spot to relax day or night. This was my favorite spot to hang out and drink my coffee. Technically, there is parking for two vehicles, but you need to be careful not to park on grass or block access to the cottage next door, which shares the property and the driveway. It's a bit tight, but we were fine with one truck and golf cart rental, and our neighbor also had a truck. Home is dog friendly, and includes pet dishes, tie-out cable, and sofa cover."

"I had such a wonderful experience in this home. The owners are fantastic, and it was clean and tidy. It is very conveniently located near the town, which is perfect. I would recommend staying there."

"Very comfy cottage. Kitchen was well stocked although I couldn’t find potholders anywhere. Huge fridge. Loved the small sunroom off the kitchen. Large bedroom. Mattress was comfortable. Only had a bedspread so make sure to bring blanket. Would stay again!"

"A good value and very convenient to everything. A bit cramped for us - very large furniture - but was comfortable. The AC was cold and the internet connection was fast but we never could figure out how to find what we wanted to see on tv. We could not find any instructions on how to find our favorite network shows on the ROKU tv. That was really frustrating.: someone needs to Suggestion needs to take a hammer to the dozens of nails that are popping up on the deck. They are both uncomfortable and dangerous."

"From now on, when I think of Ocracoke, I’ll think of this place. Book it. You won’t regret it. It truly made our trip. Perfectly walkable and nestled among cedar trees, it felt private and protected (even on windy days), while the expansive windows brought in so much natural light.Mornings were magic. Our kids were out the door at first light, quickly finding other kids to play with, which says everything about the easy, welcoming community here. The space strikes that rare balance of peaceful and vibrant, vintage and clean, cozy yet open. It was more than just a stay… it was restorative. We didn’t want to leave this charming spot and are already planning our return. Debbie is a great host and easy to communicate with. "
