Great location but hotel could be so much better.
Staff not particularly helpful, but to be fair they were all very young.
Our room was fine but not replenished with clean towels or other things that you would expect.
I asked a member of staff for some bags - they gave me 2
I asked for some sugar - they only had cubes and gave them to me in my hand, I asked if I could put them on a plate, the reply was no, they are for guests ( I thought I was a guest ? )
Asked for milk - was given some that was on the side. When I put it in the tea it curdled, goodness knows how long it had been sat there.
Outside our room ( number 5 ) at the back of the hotel was absolutely disgusting. Rubbish strewn everywhere, vapes and dirty mugs. The door in the room opened up onto this. We couldn’t open the door for fresh air for fear of there being rats outside ( no window in room )
Contacted hotel with our complaint - no reply
This hotel wasn’t cheap, we expected a higher standard.
