"I wasn’t too bothered where I stayed when I booked this I just needed to be near Castle Howard, but when we arrived I definitely got a wow factor from the place it looked like we were staying in a castle ourselves! The staff were really friendly too and the grounds the hotel was in were fantastic too. I’m looking forward to revisiting just for this place alone absolutely loved it!"

"We really enjoyed our weekend. We received a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble for this family run hotel. We ate in their restaurant on both evenings the food was excellent and good value for money. Fantastic choice of breakfast options and wonderful service. The room was clean cosy and comfortable and we had the best nights sleep. Lovely surroundings and view from our room. It was my husbands birthdays and they made it really special with a birthday balloon, banner and card....

"Staff were very friendly especially Bethany when we checked in, she took time so show us where to park and where the best places to eat were. Room was clean and comfortable, and had jockey paraphernalia in the entrance hall which I enjoyed being a horse racing fan! The bar itself does not do any food and we arrived about 9:30pm and really struggled to get anything to eat, in the end the Thai restaurant cooked a meal for us but we were the only ones in there so it felt a bit awkward."
