"The twin room i booked was clean and presentable and fitted our needs perfectly. Breakfast in the morning was good and there was a menu to choose from so you choose your own variation of breakfast. Staff were helpful, friendly and polite, overall, even though we only stayed one night, as we were attending a family wedding nearby, i would have no hesitation on staying here again."

"It is a comfortable hotel with a slightly old fashioned feel, but it is a historic building and the staff are cheerful and helpful. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable and I appreciated the heavy curtains to cut out the sunlight. The stairs to the second floor were a bit tricky for an older guest when carrying luggage, although staff would have helped. I would certainly return."

"The Corners Inn is a hidden gem. Fantastic old bar and dining room with real character. High quality breakfast - you can tell real care has been taken sourcing ingredients. Bedrooms are in a new annex, so spacious and quiet. Would love to find an excuse to go back!"

"The property was ideal for a base to visit the surrounding area. Our bedroom and the property generally was clean and tidy. The owner and staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was fine but the 'help yourself' fruit in the dining area was not fresh. Parking could be an issue near the hotel but our disability parking permit helped."

Beautiful newly-refurbished bedroom, with some really thoughtful extra touches - such as a rubber bathmat and handrail, electric fan, suitcase stand, and biscuits every day with the tea and coffee. "It seems this hotel hasn't been updated since the 1960s. The carpets were worn and discolored; frankly, we were scared of catching a skin disease if we walked barefoot. With no disposable slippers provided, we wore socks the entire time. A "we don't care" response twice to my message the day before check-in should have been my first clue. Most importantly, if you have children, do not book this hotel for their safety/life. The windows were disgusting, the paint was chipped, and horrifically,...
