Service first night good great breakfast...2nd night and breakfast not as professional.
Disappointing provision of toiletries....only enough for 1 first night and NONE 2nd night.....just the hand wash!!!

"The room was really clean, a bit small but really nice. Parking was easy, within a few minutes walk from hotel. Kim was lovely, she made us feel really welcome. Its a shame that they dont do breakfast anymore but we took cereal and also went to wetherspoon which was just down the road.
We had a fabulous 3 days."

We had underfloor heating and found the room too hot through the night and bed a little to hard for me. If looking for hairdryer ours was positioned behind the curtain and unable to find it when I needed it."
"I didn’t know what to expect really, I’ve spent a lot of time in the Dales but have never stayed in a Shepherds Hut - wow!! I stayed in Herdwick and it was amazing! One of the quirkiest places I’ve stayed, it was warm (electric heater and underfloor heating make it toasty) and the bathroom was so warm with the heated towel rail. The bed was comfy, there was loads of underbed storage space, coat/clothes hooks on the walls which was enough for me! There was a welcome pack of breakfast items which...
"Really relaxed vibe and Jack was a great host. The ‘help yourself’ breakfast was a great idea and the little things like, have a bottle of water out of the fridge, went a long way.
Room was clean, light and airy. Had everything you could possibly want eg posh coffee maker etc, bottles of water/fizzy drink.
Jack made some lovely recommendations for places to see/eat/visit and we can highly recommend The Plough Inn and Jorvine too!
Will return for another visit!"
"My daughter and I were on a three day break in one of the cottages. It was extremely clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The farm was within easy reach of many attractions and set within a beautiful landscape. We would definitely consider a return visit"
"It’s okay hotel if you don’t expect welcoming from them. It was hot in our room even they provided a little fan and oscillating fans but it was hot day. The shower is too hot to handle and so is the tap."
