"Upon check in the Hotel was running behind schedule from the 4th of July. Completely understandable, I was patient and they accommodated us with an umbrella and chairs for the next day. The staff were friendly and always helpful! The breakfast buffet was great, loved the boardwalk access and the beach location was amazing. Also, next to the hotel were several restaurants which were fantastic. We will definitely be booking again at La Copa Inn! "

"We decided to come down on a whim for the night just to get out to the beach and found this property on VRBO. The price was not bad for it being 4th of July weekend. The check in process was pretty simple. We were able to complete part of the check in paperwork online. Upon arrival to the office they validated and verified who I was gave us our parking and pool passes. The only issue we had with this part was the traffic getting to the office. When we arrived at the property it was clean and property was pretty much as described. It was a perfect size for our family of 3. The property had all the things we needed to make a quick dinner. The patio was nice to sit out at night but being a ground floor unit be prepared for the noise of the coming and goings of your fellow vacationers. The unit is closer to the pool and further away from the dumpster which was nice cause it was steamy out that day and I was very glad we didn’t have to catch the downwind from the trash. I liked the location beach access was pretty much a parking lot over and I enjoyed that there was a walkup bar, food truck and BATHROOMS off the walkway to the beach. Would definitely recommend to a couple or a smaller family. I would not mind booking here again for a future stay. "

"This condo fit our needs womdefully. Had everything we needed from beach toys to towels and more. Wonderful view of the beach, easy access and great location. The beach was great and not crowded at all compared to others down the island. We had a womderful time and would 100% stay here again in the future! "

"We’ve stayed in this same complex at South Padre many times. This newly remodeled condo is far and away the nicest condo we have rented here - or anywhere. It is thoughtfully and artfully decorated. There are first class furnishings throughout. The towels and bedding are excellent. As is the large dining room table which is perfect for family meals and game nights. Many board games are provided. There are at least four beach chairs, two or three beach umbrellas, a couple of body boards plus several beach toys found in the condo. There are televisions in the bedrooms and the living room. The WiFi was fast and reliable throughout our weeklong stay. The condo’s location on the south side of the southern building means the balcony is secluded and nicely shaded from the summer sun. And has unobstructed views to the south of the Gulf of Mexico. There is no better location to stay on the island. The complex is the southernmost on South Padre. Additionally there is no public beach access nearby. This means the beach in front of the complex is relatively uncrowded. The bridge to the mainland, where you can find local and the most authentic restaurants, is less than five minutes away. Rosanna, the host, communicated with us throughout the booking process and checked on us, via pemail, during the stay. She offered a generous cancellation policy. Check-in was simple and quick. On our next stay at SPI, we will gladly stay here again. "
