"The room was okay for my adult son and I. TV was well placed and had a fairly large screen. Beds were comfortable but squeaky. Nice soft towels in the bathroom. Bath and shower worked well. Breakfast too expensive , no light breakfast choice and times didn't suit us but the breakfast in Golden Acre park cafe is a good alternative. Hotel was convenient to visit family but it doesn't have the free facilities as it had in the past. Good bar menu. We'll priced drinks. A good atmosphere. Caters for...

"The surroundings and ambiance of the hotel were beautiful and the staff were always polite and attentive. The food was lovely and there was plenty of convenient parking. I was staying in a room in the old house on the island, which provided beautiful views and grand interiors. Could be a little noisy in the mornings with trolley's being wheeled over the cobbles."
