"We loved our stay at Villa Lata Lama Joglo and highly recommend it! It really has to be seen to be appreciated, as the photos don't do it justice. The joglo has been refurbished and outfitted beautifully but is still very livable. "We enjoyed our stay here overall. However, the VRBO listing indicates that the welcome dinner and following breakfast are included with your stay (obviously you pay for groceries). This is only the case if you are staying here for 7 or more days which is not mentioned in the VRBO listing. For our family of 4 to have breakfast and dinner prepared by the villa staff would have cost 1.2 million rupiah per day plus the cost of groceries. Much cheaper to eat out or order in in Bali! The villa is very nice, location is excellent and the pool is very refreshing with plenty of shade."

"We just returned from spending 19 nights at Villa Rumah Buka. From the online descriptions, we were anticipating a lovely holiday, but the actual experience greatly exceeded those anticipations.The first thing we need to say is just how wonderful the staff are!Wayan is a treat, always has a smile on her face. The meals she prepared for us were delicious. Over and above her normal duties, she was quick to help us with any arrangements we needed assistance with. We enjoyed the discussions we had with her on Bali life and customs. We were greeted in the morning with a smile from Binter as he kept the gardens and pool areas beautifully maintained.Komang’s presence as security was comforting to know someone was around while we slept. During dinner we enjoyed the lovely music he played on his Gamelan.The Villa is beautiful, spacious and being located right on the beach was special. We enjoyed having our morning coffee while relaxing in the rocking chairs, looking out at the water or waving to the morning walkers as they passed by. The covered patios were great for relaxing, during our evening happy hour or having massages by Komang Ari. A lovely way to spend a couple of hours on a rainy day!The interior areas are spacious and kept spotless. The exterior shower is a special place to have a rinse after a hot day in the sun!In closing, we can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning one day!"
